October 25th, Sunday 2-5pm, Fall Harvest Fair. Our High School and Jr. High students are always a huge help to run this event. This year we will again work with Salem Christian School to put on the event. We had several hundred kids and families last year, and this is a great outreach opportunity for our church to show love and caring for families in our community.
October 30th, Friday Night 6:30pm-7:00am Saturday Moning, Word of Life Superbowl. This is an outrageous event that starts at a Manchester Monarch’s hockey game. Its followed up with a night of huge prizes, food, and fun. They rent out a Fun Center, Gym, Bowling Alley, Skating rink, etc. and pack the night with all kinds of events with hundreds of Christian kids. This is a great opportunity to bring a friend to youth group, they will have a blast and also hear a relevant gospel message. Cost will be $40 which covers everything including chaperones, due by Friday Oct 9th with permission slip. Check out the video below:

Advent Conspiracy- This is a grass-roots, internet based movement to bring meaning to this Christmas Season. Basically, we’re encouraging each other to forego one gift this year and donate that money to Living Water which digs wells to provide fresh water to impoverished areas. GIVE UP THAT VIDEO GAME OR HOLLISTER SWEATSHIRT AND GIVE SOMEONE A CUP OF WATER TO DRINK!!!! COME ON LET’S ROCK ON WITH THIS!!!! December 4th, Friday 3-5pm, Bake Christmas Cookies. We’ll make and bake a bunch of cookies and take them around to spread some yummy cheer to your friends and family, and homes of people in our church family! Bring store bought or homemade sugar cookie dough. We will bake, frost and decorate them!
December 11th, Friday 3-5pm, Christmas Caroling. What better way to spread the Love of God! We want to bring musical joy to our elderly friends at Salem Haven and other places. You may think that you can’t sing, but that doesn’t matter. What matters is that you have a heart of love for the elderly and the music will shine through!
December 3rd & 10th, Thursday Nights 5-8pm, Bell Ringing for the Salvation Army - Ding-a-ling-a-ling Baby! What happens when you combine freezing outside wind, snow, people shopping, a bell & red bucket, and a smiling face? . . . MONEY for families in need! We want to help the Salvation Army with their annual Christmas drive funraiser which raises money for their many good programs that serve and help others in the name of Christ. 6pm-8pm, Christmas Cantata - Our church choir is performing their annual Christmas Cantata. This is a great event to bring mom and dad to. The music is well done, and it has a touching Christmas message. You’re sure to bring a joyful tear to mom’s eye this season if you invite her and the family to this! This is a great opportunity for you to minister to your parents and simply to show “I love you”.

January 17-18th, Sunday to Monday, Ski Trip Overnight at Concord and Pat’s Peak! If you came last year, you know you had a blast1 We will leave Sunday and drive to Concord to a hotel with a pool and hot tub, wowie-zowie! Spend the afternoon and night at the hotel with a pizza party in the hotel conference room. We’ll have complementary continental breakfast on Monday and Ski all day, drive back on Monday night. $60 per person. We need to confirm the hotel rooms and book our group ticket so sign up now! March 5-7th, Friday-Sunday, Deep Freeze Winter Camp at Berea – We This is an awsome winter camp weekend up in the snow at Camp Berea! The speaker is Jeffry Dean and Adam Cappa Band (check em out http://www.reverbnation.com/tunepak/1941997). Tons of great organized games with lots of free time to sled, play basketball & carpetball, and hang-out with a cup of cocoa. Cost is $125 and is worth every penny. April 23-24th, Friday-Saturday, 30 Hour Famine Weekend! We will raise money for World Vision who provides food for impoverished communities all over the world. Every 3 seconds someone dies from lack of food or clean water. We will fast, pray, raise money, and serve dinner at Nashua Soup Kitchen. The fast will start at 1:00pm Friday and end at 7pm Saturday.
April 25th, Saturday 1-6pm, Nashua Soup Kitchen. As part of the 30 Hour Famine, we will take a group of to Nashua Soup Kitchen to serve dinner for the Homeless. The soup kitchen has had a big impact on many students who have gone in the past. We can only take about 10 people so talk with your parents and let me know ASAP.
July 18-23rd, Sunday – Friday, Boston Project Summer Mission’s Trip! Graduating 8th Graders only! Don’t miss out on this week of working in the hot inner city of Dorchester, MA. If you’ve gone before, you know (in a weird and ironic Jesus way) that this is the best week of your year. Cost ~$200. As always don’t let money stop you from going, have your parents contact me if you need extra help with the trip cost.
August 4-7th, Wednesday-Saturday, Soul Fest Music Festival. Graduating 8th Graders Only! We are gonna camp all week at SoulFest! Get ready! SoulFest is a safe, family friendly environment, full of incredibly concerts. . . don’t miss it!
